How to delete moneylion account
-
The American startup Moneylion started relatively late, in 2013, but managed to jump on the train and gain 2 million active users. That’s a lot even by American standards. I chose it for my review because of two product ideas. They hardly made much of an impact on the company’s business, but they are beautiful in their own way. I have not written about them before. A little later, after I tell you what Moneylion are, I will tell you how you can delete your account
First, Moneylion pays for a daily app launch. The model is often seen in games and robo-services like LinguaLeo, but there users get in-house cash. Here, the customer earns a dollar of almost real money every day – which is then exchanged for gift cards from stores.
For a startup, the cards cost, say, sms-man half the face value. But that still means that Moneylion imposes an unnecessary 50 cents worth of margin to pay off the program in one run of the app. The order of magnitude is the commission of Yandex.Taxi for one trip, but the passenger wanted to go there and launched the app specifically for this purpose, and here he is stuffed with something, while he just logged in for free. It’s good to be a bank.
The second interesting idea is the cheap credit subscription. The client pays $29 a month, but borrows at a reduced rate if necessary. Moneylion wins in both cases: if the user can not count he cheats himself, and if he can – this is a positive factor in scoring, the interest can be lowered fairly. However, probably, more often they do not know how to count.
Together, both features give quite a curious effect – if you log in every day, you get the privileges of a paid subscription for free, the startup also uses it in its PR. Ad-hungry users click on especially many unnecessary services with daily runs of the app.
