The combination medicine Taffic comprises drugs Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide in treating patients with (HIV-1) human immunodeficiency virus type 1 infection in adults and pediatric patients. In this medicine; Bictegravir, an integrase strand transfer inhibitor, Emtricitabine is a synthetic nucleoside analog of cytidine, and it is an HIV nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitor (HIV NRTI), and tenofovir alafenamide, an HIV NRTI, is converted in clinical studies to Tenofovir, an acyclic nucleoside phosphonate (nucleotide) analog of adenosine 5′-monophosphate.
