Its possible make this app out of Chrome browser

I love this app, but I hate chrome as browser, I think much people has my same point of view, for example I love Opera browser but It doesnt have support to chromecast yet, if Videostream was an individual program for windows, everybody will be happy i think, is just a request, I dnt know if videostream will leave chrome it wouldnt get support from google to his chromecast futures updates.
What do u think about? -
thats unlikely to happen, as Chromecast is from Google, and they want to keep things in their eco-system.
