To everyone who just encountered the Brainfreeze issue on Chromecast, we've just fixed it. There was an old certificate sitting on the Chromecast TV app that we forgot to replace with the rest of them this week
If you're still seeing the error, try unplugging your Chromecast for a couple seconds and plugging it back in to clear that cache - a big sorry for the inconvenience!

If you're seeing your videos stutter or lag out from time to time (or even very often) you've come to the right place!
Buffering can be a tricky one to fix, a couple things below that might help:
Use the quality selector to lower the quality of your video
Restart your Router + Chromecast (to restart the chromecast just pull the power out of the back)
Try moving your laptop closer to your router as you stream (plug the internet directly into your laptop if possible)
Ensure that videos you download are in .mp4 or .mkv containers for optimal results
If you want to play other formats or really high quality videos you may need to look at upgrading your router - we know this sucks but from debugging a ton of these sometimes it's the only way.

We are super super super sorry but Videostream does not work on any Chromebook or ChromeOS due to a bug on Google's side.

We've been getting a ton of emails with users saying the app was working before and a couple days after install it breaks and won't load anymore.

If you're interested what's happening here: Malwarebytes accidentally flagged a core portion of Google Chrome as a backdoor and removed the file from your computer. A couple days later Malywarebytes realized their mistake and pushed an updated definition (unfortunately at this point the file was already deleted from your computer). This way I can load whole seasons of several shows on the play list and can quickly switch between shows. A grouped folder view in the playlist once you have added that adding by folder in the playlist will be great also for organizing.
Just talked about this with the team - we're going to do something like this for the next release (at least on mobile for sure)
